Auto Looming "Techno Ode"
Auto Looming is Jon and Mark's electro-acoustic project. Influenced by the electronic pioneers of the avant-garde (Stockhausen, Xenakis) they also explore the chance operations of Cage and Brown and the minimalism of Morton Feldman. This performance is somewhat of a departure for this project as it's very "groove" oriented. Recorded on mini-disc at Mark's rehearsal space in Takoma Park, Md., this piece is an unedited 53 minute performance.
